  • Greetings Sewing Friends!

I recently posted this picture on my Facebook page for fun and captioned it Nailed It. Thank you all for the response and requests for a video. As promised, here is a video showing you two Clover notions I use to make this happen.

Clover’s Fork Pins, pictured on the left, are key to getting points to match up perfectly! As you can see, this is a U shaped pin, so it’s like having two pins in one. What makes this so special is that it prevents the fabric from shifting. Nest your seams together as usual, and use the Fork Pin to straddle the seam. In the video I demonstrate how to make quarter-square triangles, but this works amazing wherever you need seams to match up precisely!

The other tool is the Fabric Folding Pen, pictured on the right. It is a tubular pen that you fill with water up to the “line”. Add a couple drops of the Secret Sauce to the water and viola!!! Works like Magic!!! This is hands down my absolute favorite Clover notion. While I’m demonstrating, I use this at my station and the bazillion blocks that I have made have NEVER been touched by an iron. It works that great.

Just imaging how many trips this magic pen will save you from getting up and down and going to use the iron. One lady told me that is how she gets her exercise! LOL…

So, you are going to ask me where you can buy these amazing notions. Some of you will order them from me in a heartbeat while others are going to use your JoAnns coupons or buy from Amazon. You can also order them directly from Clover at Clover-USA.com. I honestly don’t have any to sell. I am contemplating all of this right now. I believe I might offer to sell them in person. I tried the e-commerce thing and it really isn’t fun. It just added another thing that I had to do, plus shipping is crazy expensive, and I have to calculate shipping and make the labels, package it, drop it off, you get it! You can feel free to contact me and try to convince me, and we can talk about it.

Enjoy the video and let me know how you like these great notions by Clover!
